Joy in the Unseen Christ

“Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory.” – 1 Peter 1:8

We love Jesus, though we have never seen Him with our eyes. Why? Because we have seen Him in our lives.

I remember a woman who had no father growing up. She felt unseen, unloved. But when she gave her life to Christ, she said, “For the first time, I felt known. I felt loved.” Though she couldn’t see Jesus physically, she experienced Him in her heart.

C.S. Lewis wrote, “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it, I see everything else.” Christ is real, even when unseen. And when you trust Him, you’ll find joy that words cannot explain.
