🕊️ Light for Today:
How do we find joy in someone we’ve never seen?

📖 “Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory.” (1 Peter 1:8 ESV)

We love Jesus, though we’ve never seen Him with our eyes. Why? Because we’ve seen Him at work in our lives. Jessica, a friend of Laura’s, grew up without a father. For years, she felt invisible and unloved. But after giving her life to Christ, she shared, “For the first time, I felt known. I felt loved.” Though Jesus was unseen, His presence was unmistakable.

C.S. Lewis once said, “I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen—not only because I see it, but because by it, I see everything else.” Faith doesn’t require physical sight—it opens spiritual eyes. And when we trust Jesus, He fills us with a joy too deep for words and too bright to hide.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, I trust You even when I can’t see You. Let Your love be the lens I live through. Fill me with joy that shines. Amen.
