Light for Today:

What fills your heart when the future feels uncertain?

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.”Psalm 28:7 (ESV)

Laura’s friend Jessica sat stunned after unexpected health news. Anxiety threatened to take over—until Psalm 28:7 came to mind: “In him my heart trusts, and I am helped.” She reached for Becoming a Woman of Strength by Cynthia Heald and read her own note: “A woman of strength is not immune to fear—but she chooses to trust God in the midst of it.”

Jessica began to worship—not because her situation changed, but because her God hadn’t. Psalm 28 is not passive; it’s praise rising from active trust. When you lean on the Lord as your strength and shield, fear loses its grip and gratitude flows. You don’t need every answer to praise Him—just a trusting heart.

🙏 BibleVibrance Q: What fear or worry do you need to replace with trust today?

🙏 BibleVibrance Prayer: Lord, be my strength and shield. I trust You and praise You, even when life feels uncertain.
