We’re just Charlie and Laura — two real people who, not so long ago, were sitting exactly where you might be right now. Feeling overwhelmed by the Bible. Wondering where to begin. Unsure if we were even qualified to open those sacred pages.
But six years ago, everything shifted. There was a quiet whisper deep in my heart — a gentle pull that simply said, “It’s time.” I didn’t have a plan, I wasn’t enrolled in any Bible class, and I certainly didn’t know what I was doing. But I knew one thing: it was time to stop waiting and start seeking God for myself. That whisper became an act of faith when I was baptized in front of my husband, Charlie — a sacred moment that quietly changed the course of both our lives.
Charlie watched — curious, supportive, yet wondering. Within a year, God began whispering to his heart too.
