📝 A Father’s Heart: Ephesians 6:4 & Psalm 103:13 Devotional for Father’s Day

🌟 Light for Today:
What does godly fatherhood look like in a world full of noise?

📖  “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4 ESV)

📖 “As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.” (Psalm 103:13 ESV)

Michael, a father of three and Charlie’s friend, never saw himself as perfect—but he made it his mission to lead with patience and prayer. Instead of reacting in frustration, he paused to teach. Instead of shouting, he knelt to pray with his kids. His children didn’t need perfection—they needed presence and guidance.

Ephesians 6:4 reminds us that real strength comes from restraint and wisdom. Psalm 103:13 draws the beautiful picture of a father’s compassion, mirroring God’s own heart. Dads who discipline with love, lead with grace, and instruct with Scripture model something eternal.

This Father’s Day, celebrate the fathers who carry God’s kindness into their homes. If you’re a dad, know this: your calling is holy, and your legacy is spiritual.

🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You for fathers who love like You do. Strengthen every dad to lead with grace, patience, and faith. May they reflect Your heart in their homes. Amen.
